Just tragic. And the action at 1 min 14 secs isn’t the only offence here, either: this neighbourhood of mullets offend on a number of levels.

Afrikaner Hick Rap – or care in the community? Have a quick butcher’s at their other ‘hit’ on YouTube, “I am a Ninja” – mind you, looks like they’ve got a bulletproof equal opportunities employment policy in place…

Watched the clip, mouth agape. Then it clicked. “This must be a spoof, right?”
And, I’m guessing that’s the real story.
Google “MaxNormal.tv” or “Waddy Jones” and it turns out that the frontman has been subverting the rap genre for nearly a decade, in various guises.
He’s a recognised artist – working primarily in japanese cartoon art – and holds workshops at South African festivals, demonstrating how to make “chommies” – his soft-toy creations that seem like a cross between Pokemon and Gilbert & George.
Live shows have occasionally descended into violence as when, in more conservative areas of South Africa, the live show has included a video backdrop of gay, naked bodybuilders playfully smacking each other’s behinds.
I think there might be something of the genius in the midst of all this.
